Hi. I’m Shannon.

 

I’m an award-winning beauty director based in London with years of experience creating industry-leading content for some of the UK’s most-loved titles.

 

Right now, I'm the beauty & editorial lead at Liberty, producing inspirational content for this iconic store. 

Previously, I was the beauty director at Stylist, and have held beauty editorial positions at i-D and Byrdie, where I was deputy editor for the British arm of this beauty site. In all my roles, it’s been my job to bring beauty to life through thoughtful features, engaging visuals and click-worthy digital franchises. 

 

Alongside my editorial work, I’m a beauty copywriter and brand consultant, having worked with some of the industry’s most important brands. As well as helping brands big and small find relevance in today’s saturated market, I craft meaningful, thoughtful copy for everything from press releases to websites, newsletters to blogs, product descriptions to social media. 

 

I’m big on beauty culture, particularly interested in examining beauty through a social lens, having recently finished my MA in Visual Sociology.
